What Happened?

we gave
the ocean to fishermen,
the forests to loggers,
our most fertile soil
to mono-crop "farmers"

We Sold Gaia’s Abundance
but it wasn’t enough

These Greedy Tyrants
Turning to Poison
To Seal Us Off

So Bugs couldn’t eat their Corn
So Pigs could fit into smaller Cages
So us Sheep would need their Medicine

All of this Profit
making our Planet
Inhospitable

They say our population will peak
around 11 billion
but how will we sustain?

We 8 Billion
already struggling.
